The strong lord of the fifth house, Jupiter, beneficially and closely aspects the ascendant, third and fifth houses from the ninth house. The strong lord of the house of fortune forms close conjunction with the eleventh house and benefits the houses occupied and aspected. The Sun is strong, placed in the fourth house and aspects the tenth house closely. The lord of the third house, Venus, is strong and it is placed in the fifth house. Mercury is weak as it is in infancy and is combust. Saturn is weak as it is in old-age and is combust. The Moon is fairly strong.

Saturn and Venus are weak due to the weakness of their dispositors. Jupiter and Mercury are weak as they are closely afflicted and the most effective point of their house of placement is afflicted by all the functional malefic planets. The Moon is weak as the most effective point of its house of placement is afflicted. The Moon becomes additionally weak because of its mutual afflictions with Rahu and Ketu.

In view of the severe afflictions in the chart, and the weakness of the Sun and Mars, the native could not see high position in life, in spite of his being an engineer.

The fifth lord, Jupiter, is placed quite close to the most effective point of the tenth house, but is weak as it is in old-age and the most effective point of its mooltrikona sign is afflicted by the Moon. Saturn, which is placed in the tenth house, does not form close conjunction with either the most effective point of the tenth house or Jupiter placed therein. Saturn is strong and enjoys placement benefit.

Due to the weakness and severe affliction of the Sun, the native saw number of upheavals in life. The strength of Venus and Mercury took him to business. Mars, unafflicted, ruling father, is well placed but is weak due to the weakness of its dispositor and close affliction to the most effective point of its mooltrikona sign house. All planets and houses face weakness and/or severe afflictions. The child was born in the sub-period of the afflicted Sun in the main period of debilitated and badly placed Mercury. She could not move her hands and legs. She died in the same sub-period.

The traditional approach for analysis of horoscopes could not have indicated short life for this native as the Moon with the so called debilitation cancelled, was placed in an angular house, Jupiter was placed in a kendra, yogakaraka Mars was aspecting the ascendant, and the lord of the ascendant, the Sun, occupied its sign of exaltation in the ninth house.

The System's Approach, however, gives clear indication. Venus becomes additionally weak as it is closely afflicted by Rahu from the sixth house. The lord of the fifth house, though afflicted and weak, closely influences the most effective points of the houses occupied and aspected. The functional malefic planet, the Moon, is just on the most effective point of the third house, reducing happiness from younger brothers and sisters, in addition to the affliction to the third house, the lord of the third house, Venus, and the significator for the third house, Mars, are also weak. The afflicted Jupiter denied happiness of male progeny, and caused suffering on account of female children. Saturn, though in its own sign, becomes weak due to old-age. The lord of the second house, ruling status, is placed in the third house quite away from the Moon, but it is debilitated in navamsa, has a weak dispositor and the most effective point of its house of placement is exactly afflicted. There are combinations for acquiring high status in this chart. Firstly, Leo rising in the ascendant; and secondly, the lord of the ascendant being in the house of status; thirdly, the lord of the house of initiatives placed in the house of status; and fourthly, the operation of the main period of the lord of the fifth house in career building days. In spite of acquiring a high position and accumulating immense wealth, the native had to face unhappiness in life on account of his younger brothers and lack of male progeny due to exact affliction to the most effective point of the third house. The native faced inharmonious marital relationship due to placement of lord of the seventh house in the sixth house and due to affliction of significator of wife by Rahu from the sixth house.

All the functional malefic planets are quite away from the most effective points of their houses of placement. Saturn, the lord of the seventh house is in the state of combustion and is placed in the fifth house in conjunction with the Sun. The lord of the fifth house is weak as it is in old-age and weakly disposed. The lord of the third house, Venus, is weak as it is debilitated in navamsa and its dispositor is weak.

The weakness of the significator for elder brother and male children, Jupiter, weakens the position of the Sun, Saturn and Venus, as they are placed in its mooltrikona sign. During the sub-period of Jupiter in its own main period, the native suffered acutely on account of serious health problem to his elder brother. During the sub-period of combust Saturn, the sufferings to elder brother continued as he happened to be the partner of the native in the business enterprise. After his marriage, in the sub-period of strong Mercury in the main period of Jupiter, the native longed for a male child. His first child was a female. The lord of the third house is placed in the fourth house, but quite away from its most effective point and weak due to the most effective point of its mooltrikona sign being exactly afflicted by the Rahu-Ketu axis.

The unafflicted position of the Sun and Mercury in the house of status blessed the native with graduation in medicine and a flourishing business by way of a clinic. But on the other hand, in spite of his being a physician himself, he could not care for his own inherent health problems caused due to the weakness of the Sun, Jupiter, Mercury and Mars and the exact affliction of Rahu-Ketu axis to the most effective point of all the six houses aspected, including the ascendant. The native saw the main periods of unafflicted functional benefic planets, Venus, and the Sun up to thirtieth year of his life.
