HOW DO PLANETS AFFECT US
The basis of astrology is Karma theory. The planetary influences in the horoscope are based on the deeds of one's past life. Whatever we have to get or face in this life is based on the planetary influences arising in our horoscopes. The horoscope is a map of the heavens (planets) plotted on paper as a map of the twelve signs of the zodiac placed in twelve houses. From this map of the heavens we can read the planetary influences in the life of a person as well as the amount of free will. The strength of the Sun, Mars, Jupiter and the lord of the third house or planets in the third house show the magnitude of free will. The world dreads today the fear of AIDS, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, psychiatric problems, etc. The modern system of medicine whether allopathic and/or alternative medicines offers us guiding factors for preventing these dreaded diseases or early detection of them so that they can respond to symptomatic treatment. The divine science of Vedic Astrology has the twin capacity to forewarn and forearm; it offers the preventive remedies for such diseases wherever the possibility of such a disease is indicated by the predictive capacity of Vedic Astrology.
We come across serious health problems even at birth, when the individual concerned has no role to play in the abuse of his/her food habits, etc. Astrology relates it to deeds from one’s past life based on the theory of Karma. We are not trying to create here any orthodoxy or blind faith or fatalism but we are trying to share with you our experience of the application of the science of astrology and astrological remedies in timing of the diseases and timing of recovery. The exact or very close influence of Rahu or Ketu to the weak planets causes persisting infectious and allergic problems. These problems can be managed with the help of the preventive astrological remedies. This necessitates the astrological diagnosis right at birth.
The timing is done with the help of the horoscope which is a record of the planetary positions prevailing at the time of the birth of a particular person in a particular place. Astrology offers us the preventive diagnostic power and astral remedies both for preventive as well as curative purposes. Administering medicine is supported manifold when combined with astral remedies. The operating planetary periods and transit indicate the time frame for recovery. This in turn gives patience and results of the symptomatic treatment.
