THE SUN
The Sun is the significator for vitality and is a life giver in any birth chart because it rules the digestive system which provides nourishment to the whole body. It is bilious and has sturdy bones. It is hot, dry and constructive. It represents bone structure, constitution, blood, brain, stomach, bile, digestive fire, heart as the life-centre, eyesight, gall-bladder, spine and belly. In cases where it is weak and/or afflicted in a birth chart, it makes the person vulnerable to weak eyesight, headaches, erratic blood circulation, heart trouble, bone fractures, overheating, fevers, blood pressure, baldness, neuralgia, bone cancer, weak immune system, etc.

THE MOON
The Moon is cold, moist and its constitution is a mixture of vata and kapha. The Moon represents fertility, emotional and functional health as it governs fluids in the body, good quality of blood, lymph glands, tonsils, breasts, lymphatic system, face, lungs and chest. It also governs ovaries, menstrual cycle, uterus and generative organs.
